Behavior Modification
Our process of behavior modification aims to understand the function of the behavior, the circumstances that elicit the behavior, and the underlying emotional state they are acting from. Whether it is displays of aggression, fear, anxiety, stress, or reactivity - we can take steps to help our pets change their perception of the world around them.
Skills Training
Learning skills allows our dogs to live peacefully and function in our world and in our lives. These skills include things like sit, down, place, and come. We can also teach them when to leave something alone, drop or pickup something, leave a space, jump up into our car, and fun enriching skills like spin, speak, paw, and roll over. All of these skills require us to teach mechanical movement and positive reinforcement can be a great approach to accomplish this.
